You will join crews for a 20 mile return journey, hauling a passenger service through the stunning Hampshire countryside. The highly experienced engine crews will be on hand to answer any questions and draw your attention to various points of interest along the way. To top it all, you will be the only passenger riding amongst the crew. What a fantastic way to experience the thrill of the sights, sounds and smells of life on the footplate.

Then climb up onto the footplate to fire and drive one of the larger locomotives over a breathtaking 20 miles of railway through the Hampshire countryside. You will haul a full train of carriages for the full length of this steeply graded line. Enjoy ten miles as driver and ten miles as fireman, and enjoy a tasty lunch along the way. This is the ultimate footplate experience for steam train enthusiasts. Bring along three guests, to travel in a carriage free of charge, to share the experience with you.
