Zorbing is a new extreme sport where people are rolled down steep hills inside 12' inflatable balls. You and your chosen victim are strapped facing each other in the harnesses inside the ball, before tearing off down a hill at speeds of up to 30mph. The general reaction is to laugh hysterically as you descend the hill, rolling and bouncing! And don't worry, with a safety harness, and 3-foot of air between you and the ground, you're entirely safe.

Northumberland is the venue for this stomach churning high speed adventure. The big 12 foot inflatable PVC ball sits at the top of a hill ready to take on two occupants at a time. Each person is given some advice and then gets strapped in for safety, one either side of the ball, at the hips, feet and shoulders. Next with a friendly shove, the ball starts to move and pick up speed. Who will look the most scared as each person tumbles over and over with the ball spinning at up to 30mph? Time seems suspended but in truth the ride will take less than a minute to conclude.
